All students participate in a number of performances throughout their time at Nativity, including:

Spanish
An introduction to the Spanish language gives our students a jump on fluency in the second-most spoken language in the world. Learning a second language has shown to improve overall cognitive development, enhance performance in other classes, improve memory, increase communication skills in the first language, increase understanding of grammar in the native language, and increase openness to other cultures.
ELEMENTARY
Children in grades 3-5 attend Spanish class twice a week. During this time, they become familiarized with the language, focusing on:
-
Vocabulary
-
Verbs and sentence formation
-
Simple conversations
-
Songs and games
MIDDLE SCHOOL
In grades 6-8, Spanish is offered to all students as one of their core subjects. Students are given a more thorough understanding of the language and a basis for high school studies. Every day, each student learns by:
-
Hearing Spanish
-
Speaking Spanish
-
Reading Spanish
-
Writing Spanish
