RFE supports many PTO-sponsored activities throughout the year. PTO is essential to the livelihood of our community, as gives teachers the resources they need!

Some of the PTO-supported activities include:

• 7th and 8th grade retreats

• Provide every teacher with a $300 classroom stipend

• Key community events, such as Santa Shop, 8th Grade End of Year Breakfast, Donuts with Dad and Mornings with Mom, National Honor Society breakfast, Teacher Appreciation Week, St. Nick’s Day medals, and ice cream social for new families

WHAT IS RACE FOR EDUCATION?

RFE is one of the biggest highlights of the year and a cherished Nativity tradition!

• Fun-run for students. Age groups run for 30 minutes, getting as many laps as they can. Spectators encouraged!

• Leading up to race day, students ask for “race sponsorships,” in the form of donations via this page. The “DONATE” button will lead you to our payment processing platform, 99Pledges.

• RFE is following by a Field Day put on by Student Council. Normal 3:15pm dismissal time. All parents encouraged to attend!

Fundraising Goal: $40,000!

How is Race for Education Different Than The Gala?

The school has two fundraising “buckets,” both essential to the operations and life of the school.

• Gala and Annual Appeal. Bridge the gap between tuition and cost to educate. Support capital improvements, such as when we made security upgrades and expanded to two rounds in every grade. 100% of Gala and Annual Appeal donations go straight to the school’s income.

• RFE. Funds raised go exclusively to the school’s PTO account. See above for what PTO funds support.
