Hello! My name is Lynne Vuletich. I am a teacher, parent, nurse, animal lover, and I’ve even been called an “Earth Mother.” I have been teaching at Nativity for 17 years, and all three of my children attended here kindergarten through eighth grade. I also have three mischievous, goofy rescue dogs at home that keep me on my toes.
I started my career as a registered nurse, where I spent the first 18 years of my meandering career. But I felt called to teach and left the medical field to enjoy the liveliness of eight-year-olds in the classroom. After many years of teaching second grade, I obtained a Master of Arts from Regis University, emphasizing in Fine Arts. A position for an art teacher opened up four years ago, and I have been encouraging students to tap into their creativity ever since.
As a Colorado native, I enjoy our gorgeous mountains, gardening, and have been known to go camping and hiking on occasion. I find a serenity and peacefulness in God’s creation. And I find that art fills my soul with a similar peace, joy, and contentment. The ability to share my faith, and encourage students to do so as well, is paramount in my teaching at Nativity.
