I am so happy to be here at Nativity: Faith and Reason! I was born and raised in Colorado and received a K-12 parochial education at St. Thomas More Catholic School and Mullen High School. I am so thankful for the strong educational and religious foundation that I received through my Catholic education. I attended Colorado State University for my undergraduate degrees and earned my masters in K-12 School Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado. Following graduation, I worked at an elementary charter school in Colorado Springs. I am so happy to be back up in the Denver area, serving in the Catholic schools of the Archdiocese of Denver. I enjoy reading, camping, and hiking, and am looking forward to deepening my knowledge of scripture this year at the Denver Biblical School.
As a school counselor, I am here to support the students and families of Nativity. Through individual check-ins, group sessions, and classroom lessons, I can address a wide variety of academic, social, and emotional needs. I enjoy helping students discover their strengths and grow in ways that can help them to become better disciples of Christ. I am blessed to have the opportunity of utilizing our Catholic faith as the foundation to my counseling services, as I believe our faith holds the answers to challenges that are often faced throughout the formative years of elementary and middle school. I will be at Nativity on Mondays and Tuesdays and I look forward to supporting students in developing life skills that will help them to have a successful and enjoyable school year!
